Announcing the new family blog

Thanks to Christian’s creativity, we have finally named and created the new family blog, which is where we’ll be keeping most of the baby-related posts. He also did some fancy CSS manipulation to help me customize the standard Blogger template. I am sure we will continue to tweak it as we go along.

It is called “A Family Is Us” and right now the URL is afamilyisus.blogspot.com. However, we do hope to buy the actual www URL sometime soon, since it is actually available! I guess no one has grammar quite as bad as we do.

I am creating a widget in the right column of this blog under the profile that will link to the family blog at all times in case you forget! So be sure to visit us there!

Your blog looks really cool! I wish I understood CSS. I have to rely on the kindness of people I pay to make my blog pretty. ha ha

Your comment on my blog was a good one. Makes a person think.

I think it would be hard to put a boundary on how much prenatal care a woman should have. But, statistics show that a baby born without any prenatal care is significantly more likely to die in childbirth.

I think it is sad that this woman lost her child. But the question I really wonder is: was it worth it for her to keep her ethics in place, but lose her baby?

In a perfect world where I were president and chief justice (just kiddin) I would require mothers to care for their unborn children by having regular visits to a midwife or doctor for at least a stethoscope and blood pressure check. Nothing invasive. I think that it’s the very least that we can do as caregivers.

Good luck with your pregnancy. I’m pregnant too, due in November.

Hello!! It is Colleen from the blogger dinner a month ago! I have not had a chance to stop by and was beginning to wonder how much you were going to share about your pregnancy. So glad that you have a special blog just for your new addition.

I love that yall are not finding out the sex. That is such a fun surprise. Glad to hear that you are feeling good and that your hubby is taking care of you.

Random question: do you like New Flower?
