I am a full time wife, yogi, and mother of two (Little Sir, 10/2009 and Little Lady, 2/2011). I work part time as a Lagree Fitness instructor, R-HYI 200 hour certified yoga instructor, and blogger. I have blogged in the past for Dallas Moms Blog, was a speaker at BlogHer 2013 in Chicago and a speaker at ShiftCon social media conference in 2015. I am a flexitarian who is passionate about clean eating (GMO-free), avoiding phthalates and other endocrine disruptors, and fitness. I have cloth diapered two babies consecutively and simultaneously, and continue to make choices for my family that reduce our impact on the environment, limit our toxin exposure, and promote less waste overall. And yet, I live in the real world and make real choices. I’m here to sympathize with the struggle to find balance and to encourage you on this journey together.
About the Blog
For me, living a conscious life includes being conscious of the impact we have on our earth by green living, as well as being considerate of my own body’s natural health and wellness capabilities through fitness, nutrition, and a low-toxin lifestyle. Other topics dear to my heart may include: natural childbirth, yoga, feminism, clean eating, low- or gluten-free food, nontoxic body care and advocacy to halt climate change and reduce the toxins in our environment.
